In the City of Detroit families having enough food to eat is a realproblem !! Please take a look at this awesome program that helps make sure that any child 18 years and younger have something to eat !!
So if you know of any family that is struggling with enough food to eat please have them call to find a site near them that is participating in the Summer Lunch Program !!!
There are over 600 Meet Up and Eat Up sites throughout Southeastern Michigan that serve nutritious meals at no cost to children 18 and under. No sign up is required – all you have to do is show up.
Starting in mid-June, call 2-1-1 or text FOODMI to 877877 to locate a site near you.
