In the comedy-drama
Night Owls, workaholic Kevin (Adam Pally) goes home with the beautiful train-wreck Madeline (Rosa Salazar) for a drunken one night stand. He's horrified to discover she's actually his boss' jilted ex-mistress. After she takes a bottle of sleeping pills, Kevin is forced to keep her awake. As Madeline and Kevin banter through the night, they begin to fall for each other.
Night Owls had its world premiere at SXSW in 2015. The film also stars Tony Hale, Rob Huebel, and Peter Krause.

Chi-Raq, Spike Lee's thought-provoking modern-day adaptation of Aristophanes'
Lysistrata, the beautiful Lysistrata (Teyonah Parris) is in love with aspiring rapper Chi-Raq (Nick Cannon), but she is disturbed by the bloody war between his Spartan gang and the rival Trojans, led by Cyclops (Wesley Snipes). Lysistrata persuades both Spartan and Trojan women to swear off sex with their men until the fighting stops. To draw more attention to their cause, she leads a bold occupation of a local armory, inspiring women across the city - and eventually the world - to join the boycott. The city's fate hangs in the balance as the ultimate battle of the sexes rages in this searing satire of gun violence in America.
Chi-Raq also stars Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett, John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.
