Friends,

Happy New Year!

With the start of 2019, I am now officially the State Senator for District 1. I am incredibly honored and humbled to begin serving in the 100th Legislature. The start of this journey in the Senate brings an opportunity to continue to advance equity, opportunity, access and justice in Michigan, and I am ready to work.

Wednesday was the first official session day in the legislature. Also, Team Chang is now located in a beautiful office at the Capitol – come visit us if you are ever in Lansing. We are gearing up to reintroduce legislation in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Bridge Construction Survey

The Gordie Howe International Bridge construction and its customs plaza will affect residents of Senate District 1 who live, work or own nearby businesses. The Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority has invited residents to fill out a survey about community benefits so that they can share results with Bridging North America, the consortium responsible for the design, construction and operation of the GHIB.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or my team if we can assist you in some way. We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Chang
