Boom for Real: The Late Teenage Years of Jean-Michel Basquiat, starts Friday, June 15 with an in-person Q & A after the 7:30 p.m. show. The film's producer Rachel Dengiz and art curator Carlo McCormick (who appears in the film) will join us for discussion. All other showtimes have also been set as well, see below for all the info.

 

Lea Thompson's comedy-drama The Year of Spectacular Men also starts Friday, June 15, and The Yellow Birds, starring Alden Ehrenreich, screens once only, on Monday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m.

Starting Friday, June 15, BOOM FOR REAL: The Late Teenage Years of Jean-Michel Basquiat, follows the famous artist pre-fame and details how New York City, the times, the people and the movements surrounding him formed the artist he became. Join us for an in-person Q & A with the film's producer Rachel Dengiz and critic and curator Carlo McCormick (who is featured in the film) after the 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15.Some tickets are still available online or at the box office during business hours for this special screening. we definitely recommend getting your tickets ahead of time.

This campy comedy-drama, in which a male hidden in the basement is the least of the secrets at a militant all-girls boarding school, starts Friday, June 22.

Yellow Submarine has been restored and remixed for its 50th Anniversary! Due to the delicate nature of the hand-drawn original artwork, no automated software was used in the digital clean-up of the film’s restored photochemical elements. This was all done by hand, frame by frame. The film’s songs and score were remixed in 5.1 stereo surround sound at UMG’s Abbey Road Studios by music mix engineer Peter Cobbin.

 

An icon of psychedelic pop culture, Yellow Submarine is a colourful musical spectacle and an exhilaratingly joyful cinematic experience for all ages — filled with visual invention, optical illusions, word play, and glorious, glorious music.
