Join us for our second annual Corktown-a-Glow onSaturday, December 9th at 12 PM - 7 PM There will be tons of family-friendly holiday fun, prize opportunities, and festivities throughout Corktown, Detroit.
 
1p-6p: FREE shuttles (thanks to Nemo's) throughout Corktown to restaurants and shops, offering specials and Passports with prize opportunities.
 
 At Bagley and Trumbull --
 5p-7p: Mudgie's hot chocolate, marshmallow roasting (courtesy of Farmer's Hand), caroling (lead by Giles Simmer) and pictures with Santa. 
 
 A chance to give back: Accepting new unwrapped toys for children, new socks for the homeless, and new or gently used books for DPD Little Libraries.
 
 6p: Tree lighting ceremony.
 
1. FREE holiday shopping shuttles from 12-6pm provided by Nemo's. Hop on and off all day to visit some of our amazing stores, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.
 
Stops at Eldorado General Store, Detroit Athletic Company, George Gregory, Detroit barber Co., Metropolis, Ponyride Holiday Makers Market, The Farmer's Hand, Mama Coo's and Hello Records
 
2. Free Photo Booth with Santa at Bagley + Trumbull: 5-6pm. Enjoy complimentary Mudgie's hot chocolate while you roast marshmallows by the fire (courtesy of Farmer's Hand).... Come hang with the Detroit Mounted Police.
 
3. Tree Lighting Ceremony with Councilmember Raquel Castañeda-López at Bagley + Trumbull 6pm.Caroling led by opera singer Giles Simmer immediately following. Bring jingle bells!
 
4. Dine, Drink + Be Merry: All day
Get cozy and warm while enjoying Corktown-a-Glow specials at bars and restaurants throughout the neighborhood.
 
5. 'Tis the Season to Give
We'll be collecting new unwrapped toys for children, new socks for the homeless, and new or gently used books for DPD Little Libraries. Items can be dropped off at Bagely + Trumbull and The Detroit Police Department will distribute to families in need.
