Dear residents,

Waterfront Terminal still wants to have a coke yard in the community.  They have appealed the denial by the City's Building, Safety Engineering and Engineering Department’s (BSEED) to allow a coke yard in southwest Detroit.  As you know, Waterfront Petroleum is the company that openly stored coke breeze on its property, located at 3701 Jefferson, along the Detroit River.

We are encouraging you all to be engaged and informed.  Residents should please make an effort to attend.  The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) hearing will be on Tuesday, April 26. They are scheduled to appear at 10:15a.m.
