Join the DHNC as it hosts speakers with insight into Detroit's growing medical marijuana industry:

Our topic of conversation for the evening of January 21 is the medical marijuana outlets proliferating throughout the city.  They seemingly are popping up on every street corner, their bright green signs standing out in the daylight and the dark.

Would you like to hear from a representative from Council President Brenda Jones' office about the law that was passed to allow them?  Interested in understanding the licensing process, the regulatory controls, the zoning requirements, inspections, and any efforts to control the number of them in the city?   Would you like the opportunity to share any concerns you have about  the impact it has on our community?

Others with special knowledge on this topic have also been invited to speak.

Please join us at on January 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Bring your questions, insights, and concerns about the important issues that affect our lives in Detroit.

Invite Your Neighbors!

The more residents who attend these meetings with representatives from the City, the more seriously they'll take our concerns.  Invite your neighbors to this month's meeting so they can learn first-hand about the City's auto insurance program and removal of traffic lights.

The Detroit Historic Neighborhoods Coalition (DHNC) was established in 1999 for residents to have a united voice in their community's development and revitalization.
