These two artists in residence from different countries and disciplines combine their knowledge and their common ground "music". They will be giving a lecture on the process of creation and participation in an interdisciplinary investigation. The artists will share their own artistic methodology that they are creating between scientific investigation (collecting data, archival research, etc) and formal/informal relations with local/international participants. Lecture 7-8pm. Dunch Club served 2-8pm. DJ Set following lecture.
River's Edge Pop-Up Art Space
In conjunction with the 10th Annual Jazzin' on Jefferson outdoor music festival, the Jefferson East Business Association (JEBA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Urban Priorities Committee worked with local entrepreneurs, architects, and artists to create June on Jefferson - a month-long pop-up business series.

"Mary Ann Aitken Black Abstract 1983-2011" is a comprehensive book about the career of artist Mary Ann Aitken (b. Detroit, 1960 - d. New York, 2012). A full-color, 96 page catalog, this release brings to light rarely seen works by Aitken, spanning the length of her career as a painter, art therapist and observer of the subtle beauty found in the every day. The catalog features a forward by lifelong friend Ed Fraga, an essay by Trinosophes director Rebecca Mazzei, and catalog design by What Pipeline directors Daniel Sperry and Alivia Zivich.
