Hello to All:
MDOT is looking to again issue a contract for General Maintenance Services for the Bagley Pedestrian Bridge, the east and west apron/approach areas and the 21st Street Car Pool Lot. We would like to reach out to the community in the vicinity of the bridge for potential vendors. Our goal is to have this maintenance service under contract so services can begin prior to the Cinco de Mayo weekend. The Specifications for General Maintenance and related documents are attached for your reference and may be passed on to any potential vendors.
Please provide our Maintenance Coordinator; Mr. Keith Williams, with contact information for vendors who you feel may be interested in providing these services. Mr. Williams will follow up by sending them an invitation to bid. Include the contact and company name, phone number and email address, and please include a fax number if there is no email address available. Keith Williams can be reached via email at
Bid invitations will be sent out via email or fax; related documents will be included in email transmittals and will also be available at the mandatory pre-bid meeting, which will be held Tuesday morning, April 16, 2013 at 9:30 AM, at the MDOT Detroit Operations & Service Center. Vendors without an email address may pick up the related documents from our office prior to the pre-bid meeting. Arrangements for document pick-up are to be made through Keith Williams.
