Check out our rotation of guest artists in the POST studio. It's a one day pop up shop where you'll have a chance to meet the maker and shop their wares in person! Sunday June 1 10am - 3pm Visit the Gooniverse and shop ceramic Goos, prints, jewelry, and more. What's a Goo? Goos are special beings that are helpful and generous. They get tired sometimes. When they're not visiting us, they live someplace else, in a lush paradise. A group of Goos is called a whish, and they speak in origami.

Craft Cocktail Workshop: French 75s & Cookie Decorating
Learn to prepare a classic brunch style cocktail, the French 75. Robyn will teach a few variations in addition to the classic recipe. Create three different cocktails with one recipe! And while we're sipping our drinks, Kellie will take everyone through cookie decorating 101. Learn how to use royal icing to create the perfect cookie canvas.

Collage Workshop: Large Mixed Media Abstractions This 4 hour workshop will give you plenty of time to explore, create, and complete a comprehensive series of abstract collages to take home and enjoy. Marbling Workshop: Paper + Fabric + Wood We’ll show you how to properly dip paper, leather, wood, and fabric into the bath in order to perfectly transfer your trippy patterns. We'll also discuss uses for the results beyond the workshop. So many projects can be made with your marbled pieces!

Saturday June 14 10am - 5pm Melissa West is a talented artist based in Dearborn, holding a BFA in painting. After graduating, she unearthed a deep passion for creating 3D objects. Over the past six years, she has explored the versatility of concrete, crafting one-of-a-kind planters and home decor pieces. Combining her love for plants with her creative spirit, Melissa is excited to bring a whimsical fairy garden workshop to POST this August.

CopyCat will be a printmaking studio that supports a growing and inclusive printmaking community in Detroit by offering affordable access to professional printmaking equipment, classes, and studio space for anyone to learn and practice printmaking.

Ceramics Drop In Workshop: Dog Day Paw Print Tiles It's no secret—we love our dogs here at POST! Now you can join us by making a lasting impression of your pup's paw. Get ready for cuteness overload. The ceramic tiles will be finished and bisque fired. We’ll then paint the prints in a color of your choice with the name of your pet, before glazing and second firing.

Textile Screen Printing Workshop: Tea Towels with Scarlet Crane During this make & take workshop, Shayla will teach you about multi-color placement printing, designing and printing repeat patterns, and special techniques for screen printing on fabric. Everyone will print fun, contemporary patterns onto 100% cotton tea towels. Shayla will guide you through designing, laying out patterns, and mixing colorful inks to use on your tea towels.

Come hang out with your POST pals for some fibers and textile crafting. Bring your knitting, crochet, needlework, sewing, or other fibers project along with any tools and supplies needed. This is a free, fun, loosely organized, crafting party with a talented crowd of pros and beginners alike. Need some help with your project? Chances are someone here can offer guidance, inspiration, or at the very least will commiserate with your frustrations.
