Patronicity Crowdfunding Campaign to restore the Lincoln Street Art Park and Activi-Tree Learning Center
Thank you to everyone who has supported our Patronicity Crowdfunding Campaign to restore the Lincoln Street Art Park and Activi-Tree Learning Center to create a unique community learning space.
The Activi-Tree Learning Center is a 40ft shipping container classroom that we utilized during field trips and Earth Camp programming. After years of serving as storage during the pandemic and building construction, we found leaky windows that caused damage to the walls and flooring.
To repair the classroom and get it functional, we need the GLS family to step in so Detroit youth can once again hav e a safe space to learn about the environment.
So far we have only raised $875 of our $25,000 goal and we have 47 days left for MEDC to double our fundraising to help us reach $50,000. All funds will be used for updates to the Lincoln Street Art Park and Activi-Tree Learning Center.
Every donation gets us one step closer to a unique outdoor learning center for Detroit youth, so donate today and share with your networks!
