It's not all that surprising that vinyl is making a comeback. Now that Third Man Records has opened their Vinyl Pressing Plant, Detroiters can even watch their vinyl being made in front of them. But if that's not your style, no worries. There are plenty of places around the city to dig through crates and find that hidden gem you've been looking for. Motown, R&B, techno ... it's all here.

Record Store Day is April 21 this year, and many of these shops will have special events and deals throughout the day. We've pulled from the official list and looked for a few more places to spend your dollars. The stores' websites are listed under their photos on the map.

Did we forget your favorite? Do you love a certain place in the suburbs? Is there a hidden spot we just haven't seen yet? Let us know in the comments or on the tip line. We've added a few more gems in Dearborn, Oak Park, Clawson, and Ferndale. Happy shopping!

Note: Stores are arranged geographically from west to east.
