Finally, as promised, the Coen Brothers' latest picture HAIL, CAESAR! arrives.
Four-time Oscar®-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old MenTrue GritFargo) write and direct the all-star comedy set during the latter years of Hollywood's Golden Age. Starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum, Hail, Caesar! follows a single day in the life of a studio fixer, Eddie Mannix (Brolin), who is presented with plenty of problems to fix. (c) Universal Pictures

Also starting Friday, March 4
"The very fact of inequality has a corrosive, harmful effect on democracy."
In REQUIEM FOR THE AMERICAN DREAM, Noam Chomsky offers a riveting discourse on income inequality and its devastating effects, which threaten to erode democracy itself. In a series of interviews, Chomsky traces the origin and consequences of the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a few.

"[Requiem] couldn't be more timely, not only because the idea that is at its heart - the impact of the concentration of wealth and power on our politics - has received so much attention of late, but more specifically because its animating concerns are central to the current year's presidential election" --RogerEbert.com

Tickets are available online at bit.ly/CDTickets for $9 or at the box office on a sliding scale from $5 to $9 (pay what you can afford). Please note: discounted tickets are not available online and are only available for Requiem for the American Dream.

Cinema Detroit is
Detroit's truly independent cinema, delivering an eclectic, quirky and quality mix of contemporary, indie, cult, genre, and classic movies in the heart of the city. We feature a unique setting - in a former furniture store - and freshly made popcorn, Faygo soda, and occasionally other locally-made treats. We are located in Midtown at 4126 Third Street, Detroit, Michigan, 48201, between Willis and Alexandrine, on the east side of the street.

Our hours are as scheduled; theater doors open 30 minutes before the first showtime.

Park in the FREE monitored off-street lot adjacent to the building and enter through the glass doors under the green awning.

Visit our web site http://cinemadetroit.com for the most extensive and current information on features and showtimes or call 313.482.9028 for showtimes.
