Ronan, also named the Detroit Film Critic Society's Best Actress of 2015, stars as a young Irish immigrant who establishes a life in her new country but is drawn back to her changed hometown and is then forced to choose between two ways of life.

In horror anthology Southbound, a variety of weary travelers on a desert road -- two men on the run from their past, a band on their way to the next gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his long-lost sister, and a family on vacation -- are forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets. Southbound shares producers Brad Miska and Roxanne Benjamin and directors David Bruckner and Radio Silence with the original V/H/S (2012).Check out showtimes below.

Starting Sunday, Feb. 14
In romantic comedy Tumbledown, music scholar Andrew (Jason Sudeikis) travels to Maine in order to write a biography of Hunter Miles, a revered musician from the area. The only thing standing in his way is Hannah (Rebecca Hall), Hunter's protective widow. She agrees to allow the biography only if she can join as co-writer. This collaboration soon leads to unlikely friendship that evolves into something more romantic. Also starring Blythe Danner (I'll See You In My Dreams), Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike), Dianna Agron ("Glee"), and Griffin Dunne (Dallas Buyers Club). See showtimes below.

Wed, Feb. 17 and Thurs, Feb. 18 only
Tommy Wiseau and Bai Ling star in Samurai Cop 2, the new sequel to the '90s schlock classic. PLUS we'll have Q & As with local actors Nicole and Autumn Bailey and Jerry Olson. Screenings of this gonzo action-comedy commence at 7:30 p.m. both nights.

Detroit's truly independent cinema, delivering an eclectic, quirky and quality mix of contemporary, indie, cult, genre, and classic movies in the heart of the city. We feature a unique setting - in a former furniture factory - and freshly made popcorn, Faygo soda, and occasionally other locally-made treats. We are located in Midtown at 4126 Third Street, Detroit, Michigan, 48201, between Willis and Alexandrine, on the east side of the street.

Our hours are as scheduled; theater doors open 30 minutes before the first showtime. 

Park in the FREE monitored off-street lot adjacent to the building and enter through the glass doors under the green awning.
