Odors in Midtown or elsewhere

 If you noticed a strong odor of garbage in

the Midtown area, it could possibly be

coming from the Detroit incinerator (I-75

and I-94).

 If you smell an odor anywhere, call the 24
hour Pollution Emergency Alert System
 
(PEAS) at

1-800-292-4706 to file a complaint with
 
the Air Quality Control Bureau.   You can
call that number on the weekend. Or call

weekdays.  Report foul odors to Michigan
Department of Environmental Quality
