In preparation for the much anticipated NFL Draft, The Congregation is setting up for an exciting week ahead. With an estimated 300,000 visitors expected to make their mecca to the Motorcity, we wanted to make sure to put our best foot forward. Join us all weekend for a classic NFL Draft tailgate. We are excited to host Mr. Pit Master BBQ Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in our greenspace complete with enough yard games to satisfy any football fan. You can enjoy our tailgate and some awesome drink specials from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm every day of the Draft.
But wait there's more! Not only did we want to offer you a delicious tailgate inspired feast, but we wanted to put a twist on our regular event offerings as well. Every last Friday of the month we host a wide array of fun Drag events. Next week catch our last run of Drag Family Feud, NFL Halftime Show Extravaganza! Join an awesome line up of Drag performers in our lower level on Friday night for an exciting take on the classic game show complete with football themed questions, and enough choreography and costumes to put the Superbowl Halftime show to shame. Buy 4 tickets together to join our VIP guest list and we will supply you with your choice of a bucket of beer or a bottle of bubbly!
Last, but certainly not least, warm up for the fun Wednesday night at 6pm as we launch our first Silent DJ session with Andre Terrell. Slide through to the Congregation with your headphones and connect to our in house DJ via the streetpass app to jam out while taking on your regular weeknight coffeeshop tasks. Whether you’ve come to catch up on your latest book, answer emails, or just sit back and have a cocktail Andre will provide some epic jams for you to tune into. The perfect way to ease into the fun of the Draft Weekend.
