The DRAFT Zoning Analytic

 

The DRAFT Zoning Analytic provides a series of recommendations to address current problems with the current Zoning Ordinance. These recommendations are potential solutions, but should be considered a starting point for discussion, prior to the preparation of draft revisions to the Zoning Ordinance.

The Zoning Analytic was released on September 9, 2019. The general public was given until November 1 to review the report and provide comments. Two public meetings where held to help explain the Zoning Analytic Report and take input. Overall, almost 400 individual comments were received on the report.

If you are interested in attending, City Planning Commission staff will be presenting a summary of the public comments on the Analytic Report at the December 5th City Planning Commission meeting. 

 

Following City Planning Commission direction, drafting of the new Zoning Ordinance will begin. We anticipate drafts of the new Zoning Ordinance will be available for public review starting Spring 2020. For the latest updates, be sure to check the project website.
