Third Precinct Community Summit - This Saturday

Saturday, April 30th

10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

In an effort to bridge the gap between citizens and the Detroit Police Department, we would Like to invite you to the Third Precinct's Police Community Summit where issues and concerns about policing in Detroit, specifically the Third Precinct, will be discussed and explained.

Participants will not only be able to voice their issues with the police, but they will also be allowed to participate in role playing exercises that will allow them to portray police officers to help citizens better understand the issues that police officers face on a daily basis.

Police Officers will also attend this summit in an effort to develop a better understanding of the concerns citizens may have about the police. This will be a non- adversarial meeting, and it is our desire to invoke understanding on both sides of the coin.

We at the Detroit Police Department understand that we cannot succeed without the support and approval of the citizens we serve. Therefore, it is imperative that you participate in this
summit.

So please commit to joining us on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324, 1550 Howard St., Detroit, MI
48216.

All we need from you is your commitment to join us. Please confirm by calling 313- 596-1333.

Thank you for your time, and we hope to see you at the Third Precinct- Police Community Summit.
