DPL now offers free home access to the award-winning software ABCmouse, a popular online educational program for children ages 2-8. Through the generous support of United Way for Southeastern Michigan and their partners at General Motors, library customers can use their DPL library card and PIN to access ABCmouse from their home computers.
In addition, 60 internet-enabled tablets are also available to be checked out by customers who do not have a personal computer and/or internet access at home. Tablets are currently available at Campbell, Chaney, Duffield, Edison, Jefferson, and Parkman branch libraries.
A limited version of ABCmouse is also available for free to everyone while visiting a DPL site.
