Detroit Parks & Recreation Department is set to bring the event you’ve been waiting for – The 34th Detroit Senior Olympics! It is the event of the summer, and you don’t want to miss out on all of the excitement.
Do you know what you will be doing starting in January 2018? Well we do, you’ll be registering to participate in the Detroit Senior Olympics, June 11 – 13, 2018!
If you are at least 50 years of age, we have an event for you. Choose from swimming, race walking, table tennis, tennis, basketball free throw, men’s/women’s basketball, bounce volleyball, chess, checkers, bowling, arts & crafts, baking, men’s soccer, Frisbee toss, golf, pickleball, a softball team tournament, softball hit/throw and running.

Don’t want to be an athlete but a supporter? We have you covered! Register as a Spectator… it’s FREE and you’ll enjoy the refreshments including lunch while joining the crowd cheering on the athletes.
After the Olympics join the Detroit Parks & Recreation Department in honoring the 2018 Detroit Senior Olympics Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists for dinner and an evening of dancing on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Northwest Activities Center ~ Ballroom | 18100 Meyers Rd | Detroit, MI. The Award Banquet is free to the honorees.
