WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
As a volunteer, your mission is to connect with boys & young men of color to empower, motivate, and inspire! Volunteers are needed in the areas of:
WELCOMING YOUTH
Provide a high energy, warm welcome so that all attendees are welcomed and excited for the event
REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN
Set every young adult up for success by checking them in and helping them plan their day
FAIR NAVIGATORS
Be a pro-active resource for all youth in the fair, to help them get the most out of their day
EXHIBITS & EXPERIENCES
Provide coaching for youth with their interview skills, networking skills, job applications, and resumes; offer career advice and support
Date: Monday, November 14
Time: 7 am – 3 pm
Location: Cobo Center, 1 Washington Blvd . Detroit, MI 48226
Attire: Volunteers will receive a t-shirt at check in. Slacks or nice jeans and comfortable shoes are recommended.
Food and Beverage: Breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers.
