Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment's (SAFE) Executive Director, Kalyn Risker Fahie, was nominated by the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) to attend The United State of Women: The Summit an event convened by The The White House in Washington, DC, June 14, 2016 for over 5,000 attendees. This epic 12 hour event featured remarks from President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and a closing conversation between First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, This event included so many other influential people who actively work everyday to improve the lives of women.
