Request that BZA DENY Waterfront Co.'s Appeal of the BSEED Issued Permit to Operate but With Environmental Conditions!

 Dear Friends,

 The Building, Safety Engineering and Engineering Department’s (BSEED) has decided to grant Waterfront Terminal permission to use the site located at 3701 Jefferson as an outdoor storage, as long as they agree to fully enclose an coke or coke breeze and that it is containment structure is tight to the ground to prevent seepage into ground soil. (Please see attachment for all conditions.)

However, Waterfront Terminal wants to appeal those conditions. I strongly urge you to attend their hearing before the city of Detroit’s Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) on Tuesday, June 7. They are scheduled to appear at 10:15a.m.
