Dear Neighbors, I hope you and your families are well. It has been an honor serving the new mighty District 6 - Detroit, River Rouge and Ecorse. In the first six months, I have aggressively tackled a diverse number of issues that directly impact the quality of life of you and your family. My staff, a team of dedicated volunteers and community partners, has helped hundreds of families with our direct services and advocacy right here at home. In Lansing, I worked hard to create a budget priorities proposal that is in line with the survey responses I received from my previous newsletter, what I heard at the doors and at community meetings across the district. In this newsletter, you will find out more information about the direct service programs that I offer and details about my work in Lansing on your behalf. Please know that your input is always needed to make sure the priorities for the district addresses your needs. My door is always open to you.
