program can help you save energy and take
control of your energy costs – at no cost to you.
We’re all looking for ways to make life more affordable. One way is by reducing the amount of energy we use, which can lower our utility bills.
You can make simple changes in your home and DTE Energy can help. Our energy consultants will visit your home and conduct a FREE energy usage assessment that will evaluate the energy efficiency of your home. They will discuss with you energy savings recommendations and ways that you can lower your energy costs even more.
While our consultants are in your home, they’ll install the following products
- ENERGY STAR® compact fluorescent light bulbs (up to 40)
- Water-saving faucet aerators for kitchen and bath (1 each)
- Water-saving showerheads (up to 2)
- Water heater pipe wrap (up to 12 ft)
- Night light (1)
- Digital Thermostat (if customer’s furnace is compatible)
*note: the energy-saving products installed vary depending upon account type supported by DTE Energy
