Dear neighbors and friends,
The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality received a permit application by the Ambassador Bridge Company to construct a second span of their current bridge. Several residents and I requested a public hearing so that the community has an opportunity to weigh in on any concerns they may have. Please note that this permit alone is NOT enough to begin construction of the second span. It is only a small part of what is required.
