Dear friends and neighbors,
Join me and the Michigan Department of Community Health in presenting the findings of the Cancer Cluster Study for Southwest Detroit (48209, 48210, 48216 and 48217) on Monday, October 22nd at 6 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 1833 South Electric Street in Detroit. Through the Legislative approprations process, I fought hard and succeeded in requiring that the Michigan Department of Community Health research and study the cancer trends in our neighborhood. For far too long, we have only had outdated and not very concise data about our health.
I ask you to please attend and find out more about community's health and environment.
