Canine to Five invites you to bring pets to bar, enjoy popular Drinking with Dogs event

The pandemic has taken a huge toll on how humans interact. Zoom, Facetime and similar apps have become really popular. But what about our furry friends?

They, too, miss running around in the park and socializing with other pets.

Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted Canine to Five, a dog day care and boarding center in metro Detroit, is bringing back its popular Drinking with Dogs event. Each month dog owners gather at a local bar to have a nice drink while their dogs socialize with their friends from day care.

"Dogs can be introverted just like people can so it's nice to be able to have them meet up with their friends as well. At Canine to Five, we have a lot of dogs that are used to boarding together, are used to doing doggy day care together so it's just another opportunity for them to socialize," said a Canine to Five spokesperson.

Each event is on the outdoor patio of the bar. All dogs must be leashed the entire time and be up to date on their vaccinations.
