TOUR DE TROIT CELEBRATES FALL RIDING ON SEPTEMBER 16!

On Saturday, September 16, more than 1,500 bikers are expected in Southwest Detroit for the 23rd annual bicycling event, Tour de Troit. This year’s ride features a 25-mile-route that will take riders safely through several Detroit neighborhoods and to Belle Isle.  Lunch will be provided by Amicci’s Pizza, Norma G’s, Honey Bee and Gonella’s.

The starting location is Riverside Park at the base of West Grand Boulevard in Southwest Detroit. The ride begins at 9 a.m. and will offer police escort, medic, sweep and sag support. In addition, there will be pre-ride snacks, coffee, and water along the way in addition to lunch in the park with beer, wine, Faygo and more!  There are two ride options- the 25 mile, fully supported ride, and the longer 62 mile small group ride for the more experienced rider.
