What it is.

Spaulding Court Oktoberfest
Saturday, September 22nd 1pm-late
YOU ARE INVITED!

Spaulding Court Oktoberfest will strive to answer the question that so many of you have asked: "So, what's the plan?"  We'll do so with the help of excellent live music and the wonderful beer and mead of Atwater Brewery, B Nektar Meadery and Traffic Jam and Snug. A ticket will get you booze for the day and we'll have a wide variety of food available if you work up an appetite.

Here's how to get tickets in advance: get them online at eventbrite for $22.09 or pick them up in person for $20 at Detroit Farm and GardenCity Bird, Astro Coffee or 1515 Broadway. If you wait till the day of, admission will be $25 at the door.

This Thursday and Friday (the 20th and 21st), we're going to have a couple work days to get the court looking festive. If you'd like to join us from 1pm to 6pm either day for back-breaking and soul-satisfying labor, we'd love to give you a half price ticket and feed you a tasty dinner.

See you soon!
Jon

PS: If you like the idea of a discounted ticket but don't like the idea of hard labor, we're looking for 6 pairs of people to work the front door for two hour shifts during Oktoberfest. If you're interested, just reply to this email.

You probably know that they're big sponsors of Oktoberfest, but did you know that they were founded in Corktown 123 years ago?

Thanks for keeping it real.
