Rezoning efforts: Toledo Ave. Corridor & Clark Park

Forwarding a message from our contact at the City Planning Commission (CPC):

Attached is the CPC draft agenda for 10/1/20.  The proposed Toledo Street area rezoning is listed as tentative under unfinished business.  This is not a public hearing, but a discussion by the CPC on how to proceed.  If the Amazon discussion takes too long, then the Toledo rezoning discussion and recommendation may be delayed until October 15, 2020.  Public comment is listed on the CPC agenda, but it is up to the Commission when such comment will occur.  It could be after the vote on Toledo, before, or during.  This item is not a public hearing line item.  Once the Commission votes on a recommendation on this issue, then a public hearing will be held at City Council to consider the request - down the road.  So there will be a second opportunity for a public hearing (if in fact the CPC recommends approval of all or part of the rezoning).

Please let us know if you have any questions.
